Responsibilities of a Counter/Warehouse Associate
As a Counter/Warehouse Associate at our Westburne – Ottawa West, ON branch, you will be responsible for completing the order process in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes selecting orders for electrical parts and products, checking for accuracy, and packing for shipment. You will also be responsible for processing paperwork for shipping, receiving and verifying incoming shipments, processing returns, maintaining stock levels, and participating in regular inventory counts.
Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to established Health & Safety procedures, assist at the counter when necessary, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Role
To thrive in this role, applicants should have a Grade 12 education (or equivalent), at least one year of warehouse experience, good mathematical and data entry skills, proficiency in a computerized environment (AS400 and Windows), and electrical distribution/product knowledge.
