Job Summary
- The U.S. Embassy in Abuja is seeking eligible applicants for the Political-Military Assistant Position in the Political office.
- The incumbent is responsible for coordinating Leahy Vetting at Post and maintaining Post’s biography database.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct Leahy Vetting processing at Post and monitor, analyze, and report on ECOWAS and the Nigerian armed forces.
- Explain, promote, and defend the laws, policies, and interests of the US in public diplomacy and bilateral meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
- All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a Top Secret security clearance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, or other Liberal Arts is required.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of professional work experience in an office environment with a strong focus on writing and analytical skills is required.
Salary
USD 47,419 / Per Year.
