Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $35-40/Hour
Our client is a private health professional consulting group that includes a team of physicians, RN’s and related health professionals committed to helping individuals plan for a healthy future. Located in Thornhill, their team works closely with each client to assess his or her current health strengths and health liabilities. They are currently looking for an experienced RN to replace a retiring RN of 25 years’ service.
Job Duties
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- Assist in minor surgery and other medical procedures
- May supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- May develop and implement discharge planning process on admission of patients
- May teach and counsel patients and their families on health-related issues
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
