Job Description

Cedar Heights Residential Living is seeking caring, enthusiastic, and professional individuals to work as Support Workers with children and adolescents at our residence in Tottenham, ON. Our organization specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with ASD, FASD & Dual-Diagnosis, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to provide high levels of support and supervision in education, behavior management, community involvement, and recreation. This position requires flexibility in working various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Child and Youth Worker, or other related fields. Additionally, the candidate must have a valid driver’s license and provide a criminal reference check with vulnerable sector screening. Experience is encouraged but not required, and full COVID vaccinations are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Daytime staff are responsible for creating and implementing therapeutic programming, while the Overnight Residential Support Worker provides hygiene and daily living support for all residents, including cleaning, food preparation, room safety checks, and clerical duties.

Benefits and Schedule

The position offers dental care, extended health care, and vision care. The schedule includes 10-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, day shifts, night shifts, holidays, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Education and Certification Requirements
