The U.S. Mission in Nigeria is delighted to announce the Solar Decathlon Africa Design Competition 2024, which is open to undergraduate and graduate students in Nigeria. In collaboration with IRESEN (Morocco’s renewable energy institute) and the U.S. Department of Energy, this competition challenges students to design renewable energy-powered residential and commercial buildings.
Competition Details and How to Apply
Collegiate teams of undergraduate and/or graduate students specializing in architecture, engineering, construction management, and related disciplines are encouraged to enter the competition with a faculty advisor. Finalist teams will present their designs to expert jurors at the competition in Ben Guerir, Morocco on June 6.
