About OAUSTECH

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December, 2019. The University is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical areas of industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Requirements and Qualifications

Systems Programmer II (CONTISS 7)

Candidates must possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / HND or B.Sc in Computer Engineering / Informatics / or related disciplines or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, with practical experience in networking, server setup, administration and management in either Windows or Linux environment. The specialised professional experience should be in one of the following areas: Software Systems, Language and Compilers Scientific Applications Information Management Systems; and Commercial Applications.

Webmaster

Candidates must possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / HND or B.Sc in Computer Engineering / Informatics / or related disciplines or an equivalent professional qualification from recognised higher institution in relevant field, with at least three (3) years cognate experience. Candidates must also have the following skills: excellent written language skills, advanced knowledge of university-supported applications, competency in the use of PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHPMyAdmin, JavaScript, Joomla! Content Management System, web authoring tools, and basic knowledge in the use of multimedia and graphic animation software.

Webmaster II (CONTISS 7)

Candidates for the position of Webmaster II must possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / HND or B.Sc in Computer Engineering / Informatics / or related disciplines or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognised higher institution. He/she must have an analytical mind, a detail understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and fantastic content management and writing skills. Knowledge of programming and script language will be an advantage.

Administrative Officer I (Legal) CONTISS 8

Candidates for the position of Administrative Officer I (Legal) must possess a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) Degree, with at least Second Class Lower, from a recognised University and Barrister at Law (BL). A minimum of three (3) years cognate post qualification experience is required. Candidates must also have the National Youth Service Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption and computer literacy.

Internal Auditor II (CONTISS 07)

Candidates for the position of Internal Auditor II must possess a good First Degree, not below Second Class Lower, in Accounting and other finance-related disciplines obtained from recognised universities or tertiary institutions. They must also have the NYSC Discharge / Exemption Certificate and a minimum of two (2) years post-qualification experience. Evidence of computer literacy / proficiency in the use of relevant accounting / auditing package is essential.
