NYSC Releases Call Up Letter for 2023 Batch B Stream 1
The NYSC has recently released the call-up letters for the 2023 Batch B Stream 1. The Orientation Course is scheduled to start on July 12, 2023. Registered individuals can print their call-up letters by logging into their dashboard on the https://portal.nysc.org.ng website.
If you are unable to print your call-up letter, don’t worry. You have been placed in the 2023 Batch B Stream II. You will receive a notification when you can print your call-up letter.
The NYSC 2023 Batch B Stream I Course will be held in all NYSC Orientation Camps. Here is the schedule:
- Commencement/Registration: July 12, 2023
- Cut-Off Date for Registration: July 13, 2023
- Swearing-In Ceremony: July 14, 2023
- Closing Ceremony: August 1, 2023
During the registration process, you will need to bring the following documents:
- Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed online
- Original Statement of Result or Certificate endorsed by an authorized officer
- School Identity Card
- For foreign graduates, an International Passport and original copies of uploaded documents
- Medical professionals must provide evidence of registration with their Professional Bodies
- All Prospective Corps Members must present a Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital before registration
Here are a few additional details for you to note:
- Follow the instructions on your Call-up Letter and report to your designated camp. Foreign-trained graduates should bring their International Passports and original copies of uploaded documents.
- Avoid traveling at night and ensure your safety. Read the Call-up Letter for more information and guidelines.
- Use government-approved motor parks and avoid unregistered vehicles to prevent falling victim to criminals.
- Prospective Corps Members from Mono/Polytechnics must present their National Diploma (ND) Certificates during registration.
- Do not present any fake documents during registration, as there are measures in place to identify and prosecute offenders.
- In case of loss of the Call-up Letter, report to your institution and obtain a Police Report and Sworn Affidavit. If you printed your Call-up Letter online, you can reprint it if necessary.
- Failure to report for service as directed or participating in the Service Corps without eligibility may result in prosecution.
- Married pregnant and nursing mothers who are not deployed to their spouses’ places of domicile can attend the Orientation Course in their spouses’ states. They must provide evidence of marriage, identity of husband, and husband’s place of domicile during registration.
