News Today on Recruitment
The N-Power program, inaugurated by President Buhari in 2016 with five hundred thousand (500,000) direct beneficiaries, is spread across the major industries targeted by the program – Education, Agriculture, Tax, and Health.
The Federal Government promises to increase the number of beneficiaries of the scheme to One Million (1,000,000), up from Five Hundred Thousand (500,000) under the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP).
To make this possible, the Federal Government through the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) agreed to recruit a new set of unemployed youths – from North to South and East to West – into the Npower scheme.
Therefore, the Federal Government will begin massive recruitment of unemployed youths across the six Geo-political zones into the Npower program any moment from now.
The program is designed to target unemployed youths between the ages of 18 to 35 years. It does not matter if you have no job experience!
The Federal Government invites you to register into the NASIMS registration portal once the website is enabled for online applications. This is your gateway to new opportunities.
Npower News on Permanency
Here is the latest news we have so far on permanency: “N-Power beneficiaries can now get permanent jobs,” says president Buhari.
N-Power beneficiaries, who have concluded the mandatory program will now be able to access permanent job opportunities.
The Federal Government said that exited beneficiaries who indicated an interest in business will get financial support from the Government to create a permanent business of their own.
Other exited beneficiaries will be moved to a good working environment for permanent job placement at the federal and state agencies.
Others will have the option of benefiting from the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), given opportunities to improve or start new businesses under a micro-enterprise initiative.
N-power management will work with many state and federal agencies to ensure that beneficiaries are permanently employed.
