Update on Fake Census Adhoc Staff Recruitment Email from NPC
NPC recently issued a notice regarding a fake recruitment email that has been circulating. The email falsely claims that the recipients’ applications for Census Ad-hoc Staff positions have been accepted.
However, NPC wants to clarify that there is currently no ongoing recruitment exercise for the Census. Recruitment for the 2023 Census has already been completed, and training for the selected candidates is about to commence. If there are any future updates or changes to the list of selected candidates, NPC will announce them through national media, as well as on their social media platforms and website.
