Responsibilities

The General Worker is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas to ensure the safety, health, and morale of patients and employees. This position is crucial in assisting patients’ recovery by providing a clean, attractive, and safe environment with minimal interference to others. Handling infectious materials with proper protective equipment and working with cleaning chemicals is a requirement of this role.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have a Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience, as well as good verbal, reading, and writing skills. Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, and competency in other languages, especially French, is preferred.

Hours of Work

Casual relief positions available. Salary ranges from $19.17 to $19.92 per hour.
