Requirements for General Nigerian Army 85RRI Recruitment 2023:
Applicants must meet the following requirements for the 85RRI recruitment:
– Must be a Nigerian citizen as defined by the constitution.
– Age requirement: Between 20 and 30 years old (medical consultants can be up to 40 years old).
– Meet the physical fitness and mental wellness requirements set by the Nigerian Army.
– Must have at least two reliable referees (Local Government Chairman/Secretary, a member of the armed forces of Lieutenant Colonel rank or higher, or an Assistant Commissioner of Police or higher).
– Previous institutions must provide an attestation letter.
– Height requirement: Men – 1.68 meters, Women – 1.65 meters.
– Must have no disciplinary proceedings and obtain the approval of their commander or commanding officer.
– Hold an HND with a minimum Lower Credit or a First Degree from a recognized university with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
– Possess an authentic birth certificate approved by the National Population Commission, hospital, or local government council.
– Must have a current NYSC exemption or discharge certificate.
– Graduates with professional degrees must be registered by relevant regulatory agencies recognized by Nigerian Laws before cadet training.
– Provide valid contact information of parent(s), guardian(s), and Next of Kin.
– No body piercings or tattoos allowed.
– All academic credentials (primary to post-secondary) must be presented in their original form.

Selected candidates must present their printed photo slips to the selection committee during the interview.
