Requirements
- Applicants must have their National Identification Number (NIN), a Functional Email address, and a valid phone number before starting the application process.
- Applicants must have scanned copies of their original O’Level result(s) to upload on the portal.
- Fill and submit the Online form after reviewing the information.
- Print out the completed online forms and guarantor forms, and submit them at the admission physical/examination screening centers.
- Applicants must have a passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force and fulfill the following General Requirements:
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identity Number (NIN).
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, including English and Mathematics.
- Applicants must be aged between 17-22 years.
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and meet the height requirements.
- Applicants must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of admission.
- Applicants must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.
How to Apply for the NPA Admission Form 2023
To apply for the NPA Admission Form 2023, interested applicants are advised to visit the Nigeria Police Academy’s official website:admission.polac.edu.ng. Once there, they can obtain or generate the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code, which will be used to make a payment of N3,500.00 through any commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria. In addition, applicants must apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
It is not necessary to select the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as a University of choice in the JAMB form. However, only candidates who obtained a minimum UTME score of 180 (which is the Academy’s cut-off mark in JAMB) and purchased the Academy online Application Form will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination.
Submission Of Applications
Applications must be submitted online. Upon submission, candidates must download the Acknowledgement Form. Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark will be able to download and print their examination cards.
