The Birth Registration is a collaboration between the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the National Population Commission (NPC), with the support of NYSC. It aims to register 12.7 million births in 2023, issue birth certificates, and provide necessary information about every child in Nigeria under the age of 5. This initiative covers 21 states, 456 LGAs, and 4,978 wards nationwide.
