Job Description

Reporting to the Program Coordinator / Manager, the Home Support Worker provides specific in-home support and emergency response services using a client-centred approach. Qualifications

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalentExperience in community care an assetCurrent CPR Certificate and current First Aid CertificateExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to take initiative, problem solve and time manageAbility to work independently as well as be an active, positive team playerComputer literacyShift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekendsAbility to speak and converse in Chinese an assetAccess to own vehicle for regular travel to client sites
