Job Title: Home Care Attendant/Health Care Aide – Inkster

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight

Wage: $21.60/Hour

Reporting to the Resource Coordinator, the Home Care Attendant plays a crucial role in providing basic care to clients and supporting the healthcare team.

The Home Care Attendant must align with the vision and values of the WRHA and Home Care Program.

Experience

Prior patient or client care experience is preferred.

Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)

  • Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course is mandatory.

Certification / Licensure / Registration

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle are essential.

Qualifications and Skills

Information and training on various policies and procedures will be provided during the probation period. The candidate should possess effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • The position involves extensive physical activity.
  • Good physical and mental health is a prerequisite.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors and home environments is expected.
