Job Title: Personal Banking Associate

Location: 235 Rue Langlois, Varennes, QC

Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight

Wage: $22.60/Hour

Delivering exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, the Personal Banking Associate at BMO Financial Group plays a crucial role in providing advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interests of customers. The individual works collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to achieve overall business objectives, including identifying referral opportunities that further grow the customer’s relationship with BMO beyond personal banking. Additionally, the role involves welcoming and guiding customers as they walk into the branch lobby, offering advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking with BMO easy, simple, and fast.

As a lobby leader, the Personal Banking Associate assists in conducting client conversations about banking services to recommend alternative banking channels and provide personal banking and investment advice. The role also involves meeting customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution, engaging customers in a needs-based conversation, and contributing to meeting branch business results and the customer experience. Operational activities, such as inventory management and escalated service requests, are also supported by the Personal Banking Associate, who is a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team.

Qualifications for the role include between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience, certification in a related field of study (desirable), and confidence and experience in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications. The ideal candidate should demonstrate some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role and have a drive to deliver a personal customer experience, as well as a focus on results and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment.
