Job Description
- Manage the indirect procurement category, from strategy development to execution, including supplier analysis, sourcing projects, negotiations, contracts, and supplier management.
- Understand and analyze IHS spend.
- Develop category profiles, plans, and strategies.
- Manage demand, specifications, and procurement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and report on procurement category progress.
- Train and coach team members on category management.
- Lead supplier communication and monitor performance.
- Define KPIs and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant procurement certification.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement or operations.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
