Job Title: Gate Attendant (Seasonal)

Key Responsibilities
- Issuing and filing permits
- Collecting park fees, selling merchandise, and managing cash transactions
- Registering park users and reporting revenues
- Assisting in training students and volunteers
- Providing general park information to visitors
- Offering first aid and emergency services
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Valid class ‘G’ driver’s license recognized by the province of Ontario
Technical knowledge:
- Understanding of office procedures and equipment operation
Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills:
- Strong communication skills for customer service
- Ability to interpret operational policies and procedures
- Demonstrated organizational and cash handling abilities
Computer skills:
- Proficiency in using computers, software applications, and databases

Effective January 1, 2022, the salary range for this position is $21.79 to $25.12 per hour in alignment with the OPSEU Unified 2022-2024 collective agreement.
