Located at the entrance of Quebec City, near the main bridges and highways, Travelodge Quebec is easily accessible. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and order of the kitchen by washing dishes, cooking utensils and keeping the various work areas clean.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Washing, rinsing and disinfecting dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment, work surfaces and storage areas
- Cleaning floors, walls and equipment according to established hygiene standards
- Collecting, sorting and disposing of kitchen waste appropriately
- Following hygiene and food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and hygiene standards
- Organizational skills to manage tasks and priorities
- Team player and good communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff
Languages:
French proficiency is required. Any other spoken languages are an asset.
