Job Opportunity: Delivery Person in Victoria, BC
The Original FARM, a prominent cannabis retailer, is seeking individuals to join their team as part-time Drivers. The company focuses on providing a unique and educational experience to customers, empowering them to make informed decisions about cannabis products. As a Delivery Person, you will work with a Delivery-Service Provider to ensure timely delivery of products to customers in and around Victoria, BC.
Responsibilities of Delivery Person:
- Delivering packaged products to customers
- Maintaining delivery records
- Communicating with Dispatch for accurate deliveries
- Operating company vehicles safely
- Cleaning and organizing the Distribution Centre
- Providing coverage at different locations as needed
- Training as a Budtender when not on delivery duty
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Hold a Class 5 or 7 BC Driver’s License
- Strong customer service skills
- Legally permitted to work in Canada
- BC Selling it Right Certificate
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Clear Criminal Records Check
- Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work well in a team setting
Terms of Employment:
- Part-time position with up to 40 hours per week
- Willingness to adhere to FARM’s terms of employment
- Ability to work various night and weekend shifts
- Provide coverage for sick days/ leaves of colleagues
- Reports to: Delivery Coordinator or designate
- FARM follows BC Employment Standards law for hiring and termination
