Job Title: Bicycle Mechanic

Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $20.60/Hour
Tunes On Wheels is Ottawa’s Mobile Bicycle, Ski and Snowboard Workshop. We bring the convenience of professional service, knowledge, and passion every day to our customer’s doorstep. 2024 will be our 3rd year in business; we will be running 2 vans all-Season to serve the Ottawa-Gatineau area and satisfy our many customers. As a Mobile Mechanic, you are the face of the business and will be responsible for all Service, Repairs, and Sales at location. You will diagnose and fix mechanical issues, repair or replace faulty components, and conduct inspections to ensure optimal performance. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with efficiency are also important qualities for this role. We strive to deliver the best customer service and uphold our impeccable reputation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers are valued. Duties:
- Perform Service and Repairs on Bicycles, Skis and Snowboards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventive maintenance
- Work efficiently according to a set schedule
- Safe and defensive driving between Service calls
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Bicycle Mechanic
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Full G-License and clean driving record
- Passion for sports and your work as a Mechanic
