Update On Bauchi State Civil Service ₦30,000 Minimum Wage
Bauchi State Governor has approved the execution of the N30,000 minimum wage for Bauchi State civil servants in grades 07 and above at both state and local government levels beginning December 1, 2022.
This was contained in a circular issued yesterday by Muhammad Sani Umar, Permanent Secretary, Establishment and Servicom Matters Bureau, Office of the Head of Civil Service, and made available to journalists in Bauchi.
The governor also approved the implementation of the financial benefit on staff promotions in both state and local government services beginning December 1, 2022, according to the statement.
He stated that the state government is working hard to implement the Harmonized Retirement Age for teachers in both primary and secondary schools.
