Wage: $22.60/Hour
Slave Lake is a small town located in northern Alberta, Canada. It is situated approximately 255 km northwest of Edmonton and a similar distance southwest of Fort McMurray. The town offers a variety of summer and winter activities as well as numerous annual events, making it an exciting place to live. The region is also home to several indoor recreation facilities that offer year-round activities for all ages. Additionally, Slave Lake is located on the southeast shore of Lesser Slave Lake, providing opportunities for activities such as paddle boarding, boating, and swimming.
In addition to a competitive wage, the position of Registered Nurse in Slave Lake currently qualifies for a Remote Retention Allowance of up to $3,000 annually, which is non-pensionable.
Description:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations. You will also play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of related free courses is required
