In two months, the government will initiate Cycle 8 of funding for youth under the Kenya Youth Employment Opportunities Project (KYEOP).
Trade Principal Secretary Amb. Johnson Weru announced that the program aims to assist over 7,000 young individuals nationwide with viable investment ideas.
Beneficiaries of the program, according to its creator Weru, will receive funds ranging from Sh50,000 to Sh3,000,000 to support the establishment of income-generating ventures, creating employment opportunities for numerous unemployed youth.
