Job Title: Support Worker for Agricultural Workers (Full-Time)
Location: 107 9th Conc Rd, Burford, ON
Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: From $25 an hour
A farm in Burford, ON is in search of a Canadian fluent Spanish-speaking individual to assist farm workers with their day-to-day tasks. Responsibilities include providing in-person interpretations at medical and off-site appointments, communication via phone, text, or in person, etc. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish and hold a valid driver’s license.
Main Duties Include:
- Support Mexican SAWPs during the growing season by providing in-person interpretations at medical and off-site appointments
- Offer transportation for SAWPs
- Communicate with SAWPs via phone, text, or in person
- Respond to phone calls and text messages from SAWPs
- Deliver necessary bunkhouse supplies and equipment for SAWPs
- Provide in-person banking support for SAWPs
- Shared on-call SAWP support during evening and weekend hours at a special rate
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
