Sandwich and Burger Patch, a locally-owned diner in Southeast Edmonton, is looking to hire a Cook/Kitchen Helper to join their team. The diner serves breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, and other classic diner dishes.
Qualifications:
- – Education: No degree or diploma required.
- – Experience: previous Experience and training preferred.
- – Tasks: Dishwashing, using grill, stove, and fryers, assisting in all operations in the Kitchen.
Job Details
Sandwich and Burger Patch is located in the Strathcona Industrial Park. Interested candidates can apply in person by submitting their resume on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM. The work schedule includes a 4-hour day shift from Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

What’s Involved:
- Keep the dishwashing area and garbage area organized, tidy, and clean
- Set up the dishwashing area and operate dishwashing machine
- Have clean dishes readily available and put away to serve the food
- Set up bus pans for soaking and sinks for manual washing
- Complete cleaning jobs outlined by the management teams
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Assist all teammates whenever needed
