Job Title: Supervisor – Nursing
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $20.60/Hour

Salary is commensurate with education and qualifications.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative functions.

Position Overview

This incumbent is responsible for acting on behalf of the Directors of Patient Services in their absence. The Supervisor provides clinical and administrative support to staff and assists in nursing resource management.

Acts as the senior administrative person on-site for a hospital(s) during evenings/nights/weekends.

Experience and Education

Minimum 5 years’ recent nursing experience required. Bachelor of Nursing degree and graduation from an approved School of Nursing are necessary.

Successful completion of a relevant Post-Basic Program may be required. Certification and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) is essential.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of management principles, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Solid understanding of nursing evidence-based practice and regulations governing nursing practice required.

Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze, and apply relevant knowledge. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills essential.
